Name: Tyan
Species: Cheetah
Gender: Female
Age: 21 (human years)
Appearance: (soon to come)
History: Tyan was born into a small coalition of cheetahs made up of her mother, brother, and her uncle and his mate. Their line of deep-golden pelted cheetahs was much revered in the grassland plains where she lived. When her mother Elva gave birth to two small gray pelted cubs, word spread quickly among felines and many of their prideful species turned their backs on the group. Elva raised Tyan and her brother Enro despite the bitter looks she received from others of her kind, though her time spent as a social outcast took its toll. The two cubs lived a happy life in the coalition until a year later, at the birth of their cousins Mitar and Reth. The rich sunset gold fur had been passed from the genes of their uncle into two strapping young males. Elva, desperate to be accepted once more, became obsessed with the two, neglecting the needs of the nearly matured Tyan and Enro. The constant spite they received from the other members of the group was two much for them and they decided to leave the coalition.
Enro instantly became protective of his sister, taking on the responsibilities that their mother refused to preform while also teaching her to be independent and strong. They lived out the next six months at the base of a small mountain where their pelts would melt into the tones of the boulders. Their speed allowed them to wait in the rocky nooks for prey before dashing onto the open plains to make a kill. The bond between them was powerful and they began to depend on each other's skill and companionship. Unfortunately, this life didn't last long. Their physical makeup was not accustomed to climbing the steep rocks and on a early morning chase, Enro slipped from his perch and met his death at the base of a crevice. This devastated Tyan and as weeks without her brother passed, her once colourful spirit dulled to match her coat.
Three weeks after the passing of her brother, Tyan was met by a small group of ash pelted felines. They spoke of freedom from the indifferent world which they lived in. A world where all felines are equals no matter their shade. A glimmer of hope lighting in her soul, she agreed to follow the unorthodox group, promising herself she would allow her spirit to heal and let her personality shine once more.
Personality: A firm sense of independence makes Tyan a strong loyal ally to those who prove their friendship. She is not afraid of taking the difficult path in life but tends to prefer to follow than lead. She has a bright sense of humor and a critical tongue but a kind heart to those who deserve it. Her past will always stay with her but as a reminder of her trials, not a hindrance. She may take time alone to think but is almost always willing to have company. She tends to be drawn towards male figures or those who are strong leaders.
